Ryan

Ryan, CEO and Founder

A self-described start-up junkie, gadget freak, and social network power user, Ryan made the move from Indiana to California in 2003 to run Track and Field for the Nike Farm Team in preparation for the 2004 Olympic Trials. Shortly thereafter he was introduced to the start-up community, and subsequently never looked back. Ryan has 5 years of start-up experience focusing on sales, marketing, and business development. Ryan became a social networking addict back in 2003.

Ryan is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and currently serves on the Kelley School of Business Alumni Board for the Bay Area.

Jon

Jon, Founder and Board Member

Jon has over 18 years of executive experience in sales, marketing, business development and operations across a range of industries including investment banking, new media and, most recently, in the software-as-a-service space. Social media has been close to Jon’s heart ever since he played Castle Wolfenstein via Compuserve in his Munich apartment with a rotary phone tied to his head so he could smack-talk his opponents.

Jon is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and currently serves on the Kelley School of Business Alumni Board for the Bay Area.

Richard

Richard, Co-Founder and Board Member

Richard has spent the past 5 years as a new media executive building out audience centric networks and integrated brand campaigns. His focus areas include: social media, network partnerships and the utilization of existing technologies to simplify engagement and user experience on-line. As a member of social, content centric and business community networks he is over consumed with various touch points to update his social life and is looking for a solution.

Chris

Chris Butler, Advisor

Chris Butler has 18 years experience focused on building software solutions with the past 12 focused exclusively in online media. While spending over 7 years as the CTO of IPRO, Mr. Butler became considered one of the foremost authorities in online media buying and online media research. Since leaving IPRO in 2007, Mr Butler has continued on the forefront of online media by serving as the founder and President of VERTUAL MEDIA, the first and largest online ad network focused exclusively on helping advertisers reach the young male audience.

Cory Treffiletti, Advisor

Cory Treffiletti is President and Managing Partner for Catalyst:SF ( www.catalystSF.com ). Cory has been a thought leader in interactive marketing and advertising since 1995, both launching and developing a number of successful interactive agencies as a senior executive with i-Traffic, Freestyle Interactive, Real Branding and Carat Interactive/Carat Fusion. In addition, Cory is a serial entrepreneur and business owner having launched marketing efforts for IUMA (formerly a division of eMusic), Sharkle (a division of ViTrue) and others. Cory has worked with some of the world’s top brands, including BMW, Kodak, Western Union, Warner Bros., and Electronic Arts. Cory is frequently asked to speak at agency and publisher summits and conferences while also authoring a weekly (Wednesday) column for Mediapost as well as a daily Blogger at www.treffiletti.com . Additionally, Cory is the internet advertising industry’s confirmed #1 Pearl Jam fan, having attended more than 49 shows since 1991.

Joshua Katz, Advisor

Joshua Katz is a brand builder. As SVP of Marketing, he led the launch and built the brand and marketing architecture for Cartoon Network and BBC America. He also led marketing for TiVo and VH1, along with successfully rebranding ABC Family, Playboy and others. Recently as the President, Marketing of Current TV and Current.com, he played an instrumental role in helping this innovative company re-imagine its identity and its marketing approach while helping to generate millions of dollars of advertising and sponsorship revenue.

Karin

Karin Marke, Advisor

Karin Marke joined Glam Media in July 2007 as Vice President of Sales. Marke has extensive sales, marketing and management experience groomed at industry leaders like MySpace and Lycos. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales at MySpace.com, Marke managed the Western Region surpassing revenue targets. Prior to her role at MySpace, Marke held key sales and sales management positions at FastChannel Network and Terra Lycos. In addition to her sales experience, she brings a strong background in the fashion and beauty retail space – having worked in sales and marketing for Sam & Libby as well as The Cricket Company. Early in her career, Marke gained experience at Hearst Magazines in the Sales department for Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, Harper’s Bazaar, Connoisseur and Esquire Magazines.

David

David Phillips, Advisor

David Phillips is a veteran Internet executive whose experience includes leadership roles over the last fifteen years with AOL Inc., AOL Europe (JV with Bertelsmann), Crunch Music, Napster, IGN/Fox and most recently NaturalPath Media/Six Apart.

Phillips founded NaturalPath Media, the largest online media network for sustainability and healthy living, in 2006. NaturalPath Media merged with Six Apart Ltd, Inc., the leading provider of social publishing software and conversational marketing solutions. Prior to NaturalPath Media, Phillips served as Executive Vice President of IGN Entertainment Inc., held executive positions with two digital music pioneers, Napster and Crunch Music, and was the second lawyer to join AOL in 1994 before becoming AOL Europe's first General Counsel in 1998 and President & Managing Director of AOL UK in 1999.
